Susan Risbrudt
Board President
With nearly four decades of nursing experience, Sue has worked in medical-surgical care, nursing education at MState and Central Lakes College, hospice, and continues teaching nursing assistants at Ashby High School. She and her husband Tom reside north of Ashby, MN and have three daughters and eight grandchildren.
Jennifer Frank
Vice President
Jennifer serves as vice-president of the Rivers Area Memory Café board. She joined her family farm operation in 2003. Jennifer and her husband, Troy, have one son, Noah, who will graduate in 2027. In addition to the RAMC board, Jennifer serves as secretary for the Bethlehem church council and on the Pioneer Care Foundation board.
Beth Monke
Secretary
Beth is a Pastor at Grove Lake Lutheran Church in Pelican Rapids, MN, following a 30-year career as a Licensed Psychologist in the field of mental health. She lives in Fergus Falls with her husband Dean and has three adult children and six grandchildren.
Chris Marvel
Treasurer
Chris grew up in International Falls, MN and graduated from Bemidji State University. He has been with American Federal Bank for 32 years as a Business Banker. He and his wife Diane have 2 adult sons. He is the Treasurer of the YMCA of the Northern Sky, board member of the YMCA of the Northern Sky Foundation, and board member of Fergus Falls Area Curling. In his free time he enjoys spending time at the lake, downhill skiing, and following Minnesota pro and college sports.
Karen Wulfekuhle
Co-Founder
Karen is a Licensed Social Worker and Licensed Assisted Living Director at Pioneer Senior Cottages in Fergus Falls, with over 30 years in healthcare. Her work spans dementia care programming, hospital social work, care coordination, and program development. She and her husband Randy have three adult children and live in rural Battle Lake.
Susanne Ronning
Co-Founder
Susanne is a co-founder of Rivers Area Memory Café and a retired speech-language pathologist whose passion for dementia care grew from personal family experiences. She loves spending time with her husband, three adult sons, and their growing families.
Josh Ice
Board Member
Josh is the owner of a home care organization in Fergus Falls with extensive experience in caregiving operations and community outreach. He is an active member of the Kiwanis Club of Fergus Falls and is committed to growing the Café's mission of serving seniors and families throughout the region.
Mary Wolfgram
Board Member
Mary is a Licensed Assisted Living Director at Twin Town Villa Assisted Living and Memory Care in Breckenridge, MN. She lives in Wahpeton with her husband Bryan and has three grown children and two grandchildren.
Bridget Leonard
Board Member
Bridget is a clinical social worker and Education Program Director for Foster Adopt Minnesota, with a background in hospice, home care, and hospital social work. She also serves on the Library Advisory Board and is Co-President of the NOW chapter in Fergus Falls.
